The company’s PlayOn media server plays internet (and local) video on your PC and streams it to your game console, Roku, Chromecast, or another supported device connected to your TV.
PlayOn will not be able to record a video if your PC is asleep. My device can't find the PlayOn server / PlayOn cannot find my casting device. In order to stream or cast to your streaming device/gaming console/SmartTV, it must be on the same network as your PC. Server will not stay connected. I start up the Sever through settings and it will stay connected for a few mins then goes out again.
